Worth 10x The Cost
let me start off by saying I've bought many, many products online in the past. Only a very select few items made me want to make my first review, but this product actually did it. Amazon's pictures do no justice to the thought and engineering that went into this product. The engineers obviously have spent their time diving on their own and know exactly what to look for in a diving fin- and the true science behind diving fins. Many uneducated divers believe that the stiffer a fin, the more ''power'' produced. This is a complete fallacy. In truth, a stiffer fin only creates the sensation of more power- mostly because of drag. It is this very same drag that makes a diver or swimmer go slower than possible. With that said a fin that's too floppy obviously won't push any water; this fin mets the perfect balance. Hard but flexible plastics are used throughout the main chassis, while a stiff silicone is used for areas that need more flexion. This combo creates a very durable fin that won't crack, unlike other fins. Other small details that an engineer would never think of unless he's done extensive diving himself are included as well. This includes a foot pocket that puts the pressure at the top of the foot rather than pressure near the toes, resulting in an ambidextrous design that reduces foot and ankle fatigue due to less leverage on the ankle and supporting bones, tendons, ext. The pocket is extremely flexible around the entire foot and even ankles- eliminating blisters and chafing. A silicone tab on the back of the ankle allows one to very easily take on and off the fins. The bottom of the fin around the foot/heel area has silicone inserts, to increase grip on slippery surfaces. And Ofcourse as obvious in the picture, vents are used to transfer more power by reducing drag. If I had to purchase these again, I would have no problem paying $250 for a new pair. Their that good Seriously. I have no affiliation with this company, but I will remain a loyal customer forever due to their no-nonsense product line. This is a top of the line fin for less than a dinner date alone. Think about that.

Great performance for $20!!!
Out of any of the past fins I have owned these are the most flexible. But is this a good thing? It depends. The more flexible a fin is the "easier" it is on my muscles. For example. We have all ridden a bike. If you remember when the gear ratio was very low you had to peddle very fast just to get anywhere but your legs didn't suffer fatigue. But, when the gear was much higher just pushing the peddle one time required all of your body-weight, and you wanted to quit so you just lowered the gears back down. Well, that is how I see fins and like I said these are flexible (low gear ratio). I bought the large pair (9.5-11-.5 mens). My foot size is 10.5 and pretty skinny. I was kind of concerned how these would fit because they are full fins without a strap. So as a precaution I bought 3mm fin booties: Deep See 3mm Skin Smooth Neoprene Fin Socks . The fins fit taught, but I am kind of worried during long swims my feet may start to go numb in certain areas. I have only used them for max 30 min at one time and have had no issue with this thus far. The Neoprene fin socks will add greater comfort for those long hauls. If you are a 9.5 get some kind of fin sock. These will be too loose which in turn will become very uncomfortable. Over 10.5: You will probably be alright. You might like the socks for comfort purposes, if you do, then get the ones without the grip. I bought the ones with grip and they are hard to insert into the fins sometimes. Finally, the fins are great for being close to the shore and especially someone new to snorkeling. Because they are so flexible you will not be able to travel very fast. For those of you who enjoy traveling far out into the reef these may not be for you. Your friends may leave you behind and you may have to try harder just to keep up. I recommend considering these situations before purchasing. I contest, however, that these perform how I expected them to and will recommend my friends to buy them as well. Remember, these are $20 fins so do not expect them to perform like $200 fins.

Good product for the $20 price range.
I purchased these for snorkeling in the Florida Keys. Upon receiving them I first tested them out in my pool. Here are my initial thoughts: I were a size 10 US, and the size Large fit almost perfect. Toes are about 3/4 of an inch from the drain hole. They fit snug around the ankles and didn't fall off once after 3-4hrs of use in the pool. I read other reviews of people having this product and saying they lasted for years, so I'm giving them a try. I wanted something inexpensive, so if they get lost/stolen/damaged I'm only out $20. My only concern was how much flex they had when swimming. They seam to give (flex) a lot (see the video), and I wonder how long that will take to start tearing/cracking the fins at the point of contact. I'll be testing these in the open-water soon, and will provide an update on ocean snorkeling performance. Until then, they seam to be a pretty solid product for $20.

the fins bend very easily when swimming, providing almost no thrust. but what's worse is the portion that covers the toes is very tight and gives severe blisters. i wear size 10, so it should be well within their size limits, but these fins are terrible.
