This is a playmat for the playing of THE collectable trading card game that started it all; Magic the Gathering. In spite of early, and possibly on-going controversy between the "Moral Majority" and the game, Magic the Gathering, most rational adults understand that this is just a game, and a very good one at that. My first year or two playing (1994-1995), I steered clear of the Black Magic and the Lord of the Pit (a Demon), often trading my Black cards for Green, or White. Even to this day, I prefer the Lawful Good, Clerics, Townsfolk, and especially Angels over the Darker and more aggressive colors of Black, Red, and the sneaky, deceitful, thieving color Blue. Whether playing "Angelic Intervention", "Nightmares of the Wicked", or " Mighty Angelic", or my newest Tribal deck "Valkyrie's Sword", I now have the perfect playmat to showcase my Army of Angels. When I get myself squared up financially, I will be coming back and buying another Mat with darker themes for my favorite foil of an opponent. It was a very tough choice, but I know I chose Wisely with this purchase. The Play Mat even came with a drawstring bag, for those Away matches

Just got into Magic the gathering. Great mat, size is perfect, color is vibrant, very playable. Definitely worth the money.

Got this for my husband. He likes it, says its of good quality and should last. He keeps it rolled up when not in use. He likes the graphics and would recommend.
