Very good looking vehicle SS 3D emblem. This emblem is the black with redline version and is well made with perfect separation of the red outlining from the black SS lettering. This unit is the large emblem that is approximately 5” wide. Emblem ships with a very strong adhesive backing pre-applied to the back and also has a clear protective sheet covering the front to protect the emblem while installing. This unit is very easy to apply and will adhere best if you first clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol, allow surface to dry then warm the adhesive backing and space you are applying it to with a hair blow dryer or heat gun on a low heat setting. After pressing into place the emblem adheres and stays put indefinitely or until you want to remove it by applying heat and using a flat “spudger” or putty knife. The emblem is UV resistant and will resist fading for years to come.

Some may notice this, many will not. With the S being aimed incorrectly, I have to give this part a 3 Star Review. These come ready to install, by sitting in styrofoam for proper installation alignment and by just peeling off the clear tape on the back. When installing, you can adjust the crooked S a tad, if desired, simply with a heat gun or basic elbow grease. Otherwise, this would be good for a standard Daily Driver, and not a Customers Vehicle or Show vehicle. Otherwise, the quality is good, the colors are vivid and bright. It's a nice looking piece, just a little crooked, and it's a ONE-PIECE badge so it's not like the two S's are separated. It's OE size, large. I took pictures next to a standard U.S. Quarter and a 16oz Energy Drink Can so you can see the size/comparison. Unfortunately, crooked S, I can only give it three Stars. Also, the price could be a tad lower considering it's not perfect. Although, MANY of the Aftermarket SS Badges have a crooked S, is that intentional?

I picked up this single SS emblem to replace a worn badge on my Chevy, and it ended up being a really nice finishing touch. The chrome and red colors look sharp in person and give off that classic SS look without appearing cheap or plasticky. At about five inches wide it matches the original size well, so once it is installed it blends in like it belongs there from the factory. Installation was quick and easy since it sticks right onto a flat surface, and taking a moment to clean the area first made a big difference in how well it bonded. The material feels solid in your hand and has a nice weight to it, which made me feel confident it will hold up through weather and regular washes. I also like that the edges are clean and smooth, so it looks crisp from every angle instead of looking like an afterthought. Even though it is just a small detail, it really freshened up the look of the door and made the vehicle feel more complete again. If you need a simple replacement or just want to add a clean SS accent, this emblem is an easy upgrade that delivers exactly what it promises.

It is a good-looking emblem, hefty with a vibrant red center and convincing chrome-like outline. Unfortunately, it is warped and I think that is caused by uneven cooling of the molded part. You can see it in the listing photos if you look carefully. In my photo #2, the second S clearly bends upward. Warping is highly visible when placed next to a straight line, but it is still noticeable on a plain background. I tried to straighten it without success, though I did not try heating it.

The chrome red color stands out just enough, and the size fit perfectly where the old badge was. I drove in the rain and on the highway, and it stayed tight without moving. This matters to me because the SS badge makes the car feel complete again. Now when I park or walk up to the car, I notice it right away and feel proud. It’s a small change but makes a big difference in how the car feels. I wish it came as a pair. I recommend this item and would purchase again.
