Same usually size, Too Small
I've been using NB for many years - however, my last pair didn't give me great arch support and they fell apart in a matter of a year just using it in the treadmill, the inside lining was totally destroyed but hey, I had my doubts and i blamed my cat:) - I decided to buy a new pair, same size (8MB) - but as soon as they came in I realized they were too tight. I wore them for 10 minutes walking at home and I felt the pressure against my toe - I couldn't keep them and returned them. Disappointed on how small they are coming and doubting about the last pair's arch support (lack of it) I didn't want to risk it. I went and read the reviews for other shoes and I purchased a pair of sneakers from Saucony - never heard of this brand before but reviews are great. This Saucony new sneakers feel like gloves! True to the size, and it feels like walking on air. So far, they are great for 1 hour a day in the treadmill.

Much better than I expected.
These are very comfortable shoes, I can wear them all day doing anything and my feet don't hurt or feel really tired. They look good. I have "foot issues" and need good support, these work. They look bulky in the picture but they are really very light for this style shoe.

Great but not perfect
These are amazing shoes. I wear a 7.5 wide or 8 wide. The 7.5 wide fits perfectly. I'm normally afraid to order shoes online and order larger sizes to compensate for my wide feet. I didn't have to do that here. These are great and fit exactly as expected. The only issue I have is that I like my arch support to be a little higher. I mean, these have arch support, but I wanted more, so I wound up buying some insoles after wearing them once. The insoles have made these shoes nearly perfect, but I'm a little sad that I had to buy insoles for shoes that weren't exactly cheap. I mean, they are half the price of similar New Balance shoes, so maybe I shouldn't complain about that.Overall, I recommend them. Good shoes are so hard to find. I love New Balance because they offer wide widths, and their shoes are high quality (and made in the USA if I'm not mistaken). I just hate my arches, which may be a statement about my feet and not these shoes.

You only know a good shoe if you have been wearing bad ones for far too long
I have been purchasing cheap sneakers for decades for reasons of economy, and I finally decided to just bite the bullet and get New Balance, which I had worn and loved in college. Surprise---they were on sale for less than $50! As soon as walked around outside in them, I knew how stupid I had been all these years. They have great support and stability walking and running. I have to haul wood up a snowy hill to the house in a sled and I tend to grab whatever shoes are at hand. These running shoes never slip while I'm hauling a heavy load, while my LL Bean thick-tread shoes are far less stable under those slippery uphill conditions. I wouldn't mind a wider toe because I have bunions, but nonetheless they are comfortable and not constricting. Again, the stability is wonderful, the color is low-key and attractive, and I will buy these shoes, or other New Balance shoes like it, again.

Not the same high quality as the first pair...
I purchased these shoes about a year ago, I loved them! They fit perfectly and I wore them for the entire day, the very first time I tried them on. They really were like walking on a cloud, I wore them 7 days a week and often would wear them from morning until bedtime. When that pair wore out, because of the constant everyday use, I found these on Amazon and purchased them right away. This pair is made in an entirely different country, and has an entirely different fit and feel. They are not nearly as comfortable and, in fact are rather large for my feet! I can hardly wait to take them off at the end of the day and I try not to wear them too many days in a row because they are not very comfortable. Try to find something else if you can.

Reviewers were right! Even in the wide, the shoe pinches the small toe.
I was reading where people said the shoe was too narrow. I usually wear normal width but ordered the wider, (C/D.) They were right. They felt like they pinched my small toe and I do not want to risk that, as they get broken in, I will still not have that problem of sore toes. I also ordered a pair of Saucony Women's Cohesion TR6 shoe, as they had a similar look . I ordered these because they are some of the only shoes that are a neutral tone without a lot of neon or bright colors, (or white, that gets dirty), that I can wear all day with jeans and hiking my dogs. The Saucony in a normal width is very comfortable. The New Balance go back.

Wore out my last pair
I have found New Balance shoes the best for my feet. They are comfortable and well made. It takes a few years for me to wear out the shoes and I always buy another pair with the confidence that they will be just as comfortable.Usually I get a light color, white or light gray, but I wanted something that would hide the dirt and grime better and the black/blue works great. I also wanted to wear them with jeans and the dark color looks better than white.Great comfortable shoes for walking as well as running.

Good shoe - a bit large
This is a great shoe, I own a ton of New Balances. I do think they size them according to whether they are feeling a big foot day or a petite day. I have NBs that are snug in the toes, fit just right, or are a little large, such as these. I'm in between an 8.5 and a 9. I got an 8.5 and they have plenty of room. But, not enough that they don't fit. If your feeling a petite foot day I would go with a NB Minimus. These shoes feel sturdy, but seeing as the most workout my sneakers see is an electronic rat race made big enough for humans, I can't speak to their comfort on trails.
