Uncle Milton - Star Wars Science - Lightsaber Room Light - Luke Skywalker

I honestly don’t know why there’s so many bad reviews of these. They are light, plastic & perfect for a wall light. They were simple to put together, but also challenging enough that a child would enjoy the process. I ordered the Luke & the Vader ones and both remotes work for both of them, so I can use one remote to turn both off and on. I’ve had no issues with the remotes. I used Duracell batteries so maybe that makes a difference. They look awesome in our Star Wars themed living room.

These look great in my son's Star Wars themed room. Easy to put together and hang on the wall. I'm not going to use the remote that comes with it because I'm pretty sure that my kids would lose it in about ten minutes but there are "on" buttons on the grip. They also turn off after a set amount of time which is great since they are battery operated. They are not too bright i'd you are trying to use for a short term night light, but they are very cool looking!

Easy to assemble and hang on the wall. I’ve seen some mixed reviews on color: the sword I bought is always green, it does not change colors but there is a model that does. It makes a “swoosh” sound when first turned on and turns off after 15 minutes. This needs to be hung in the wall. I don’t think it would work for sitting in a desk.Our remote occasionally work, but not always.Overall: my kid really likes it, so based on that I would recommend but it is a bit cheaply constructed.

Came on time. I am giving this item 4 stars because it is smaller and flimsier than it looks in all the photos. It also requires batteries and doesn't come with any. Most toys these days come with batteries if it needs them. Aside from that this is such an awesome product for anyone who loves Star Wars as much as I do! It comes with the screws and bracket to mount it on the wall. The remote works, product does make a loud light saber noise when turned on and off. Its nice to have the sound effects but impractical when your child is asleep and you have to turn the light off.

I ordered two of these to decorate my son's room, Star Wars theme of course. The instillation was easy and they look great as decor. For an actual night light though, it is not a good purchase. The lights will automatically cut off after 15 minutes, and if your kid is like mine, that just won't do. Also, the remotes are ineffective. The first time of the day you use the lights, you will have to use the switch on the actual light. It's like the remote goes to sleep. After you turn the light on, then you can use the remote to turn it off and on again.

we did my son's room in a star wars theme. This is the focal point in the room. Very cool, makes noise when you turn it on. He doesnt use it as a nightlight, but just a cool toy on the wall .

The only problem I have with this is that the remote control was a bit of a joke. It never really worked well from the start but that wasn't a deal breaker for us. It's still hanging in his room and each night as I leave his room, I turn it on.

These Light Saber night lights are great for the price and we have now got 5 of them off Amazon. They sound cool, they look cool, and although they shut off after 15 minutes it is nice not having to replace the batteries all the time! They are smaller scale than the extendable lightsabers you would buy for your kids but that is actually nice when going to mount them on the wall.
