New Balance Women's 5 Inch Go 2 Short

I bought these because I am always looking for running shorts with a bit longer inseam. I hate the tiny 1-2" inseam shorts. These get high marks for the length and for comfort, they are also super light weight and dry very quickly. The only negative is that the way they are constructed, they make me look a bit wider than I am. There is a slight blouse-iness on the sides. I don't care much because they feel good to run in, but I might care if I wanted to wear them to do something other than running.

Pockets in running shorts are great. The fabric is very soft and the shorts have a drawstring waist in addition to elastic. I ordered a medium and they fit but I let out the drawstring for a bit less of a binding feeling. Could also wear as boardshorts since they have an underwear style liner sewn into the shorts. Looking forward to getting lots of good use from them this summer.

Best running shorts I own. I love the 5 inch inseam because it never rides up and makes chafing minimal (the rest Body Glide takes care of). The fabric in both the liner and the shorts are very breathable and soft. Bought my first pair a year ago and bought another one this summer because none of my other running shorts are nearly as comfortable. The fabric doesn't wear out easily and the drawstring is the easiest to tie of all my running bottoms. I highly recommend these to anyone!

I will be returning this item because the fit is too large for me (ordered a size medium). I also don't like the pantie insert.

Love these shorts. Medium for a 5'7" 146 lb woman is good fit. They are a little longer as I had hoped. I am 47 with good physique and long legs, and prefer just a little more upper thigh coverage. These are perfect. Not too long. Very light weight, with pockets, and they are extremely comfortable. I will order more of these.

As an 'older 'runner, I like the longer leg length, which is often difficult to find. These shorts are roomy enough to add compression shorts or leggings during the colder weather.
