Bought this for an ipad 4 to replace the apple smart cover that wore out. I bought the apple smart cover when I bought the ipad - some years ago now. The apple branded smart cover lasted quite well before the glue finally gave way and it started coming apart. Only time will tell if this cover will last as long at the apple one but, at about a fifth of the price it doesn't have to last very long to make me happy. In some ways it is even better than the apple one. The gaps in the case over the volume and standby buttons make you less likely to press these buttons - a frequent annoyance with the apple case. Also, the finish on this cover may not be real leather (I don't really care) but it does feel more expensive than the genuine apple case it replaces. To summarize:Ways it is better than the apple case:- feels more luxurious- you are less likely to press the volume/sleep buttons by accident- considerably cheaperWays it is worse than the apple case:- the lid doesn't fold up into a stand quite as nicely as the apple one- the magnets don't feel quite as strong (clutching at straws here)

I was looking for an original IPAD cover from Apple to replace the old one, but my device is starting to get a little older and those covers are now hard to find. I found, however, Invision Technology do a selection of covers that have the same sleek efficient look, and in a stunning array of colours. When it arrived, I found that the quality of this product far outstrips Apple. It has the look and feel of the quality of leather, hardwearing but absolutely stunning to look at. The back cover is perfect, and a massive improvement on the design of the rather more feeble Apple covers. It gives the impression of quality, and I will certainly be buying another of a different colour, because they are gorgeous and because I can.I heartily recommend this product to anyone who wants to protect their device and make it look good too.In my opinion, the reality is an improvement on the product description

Looking at the product pictures I was unsure if this would hold the iPad securely at the corners but I took a chance. It was for someone else and the cover that came free with their iPad was so bulky it looked like you were carrying it round in a suitcase.The product that arrived was way better quality than I expected. It really does have a premium feel and it does hold the iPad in there securely.The materials are quality and it just feels right. I ordered the pink one for a family member and it was a shade darker than the pictures, but looked better for it. The internal lining that goes against the screen is great quality too. They were very impressed. Doesn't add much to the size of your iPad Air and that's the main thing. The triangular folding mechanism to stand it up is very easy and secure.

The more I use this case, the less I like it. When I fold back the cover to have the iPad on my lap as I sit on the recliner, the iPad opens and closes on its own randomly, every few seconds. The button to open or close the iPad doesn't touch anything, so I don't understand this problem. It only stops from happening when I open the flap completely (so it lays beyond my knees), which is very annoying and uncomfortable.Also when I have the iPad standing on the table with the back cover tucked behind as it shows in one of the pictures. I can't flick my fingers along the iPad to turn the pages without shaking the whole thing. It moves at the lightest touch. I accidentally knocked the iPad over several times because of this (and no, I don't have a heavy hand, it never happened the same with my trusted Belkin).So yeah, it's nothing like my old Belkin (Cinema design) case, which lasted me for 4 years. Sturdy, well made, high quality leather, you didn't have these problems with that brand. I will soon go back to it, because I can't stand this flimsy excuse for a cover. In this case, the idiom You get what you pay for is sadly true.

I bought one for my precious new ipad retina display a few months ago. I was shocked at the price of similar looking cases in the apple store and decided to do some on line research. I've been delighted with this cover. It fits perfectly, stands nicely and switches off my ipad with a satisfying click. I only use my ipad in the house and don't stand it fully upright as I cannot use the key pad in that position. As a result, I can't say how well the case protects in a bag or how well it stands up if you are using the ipad in an almost upright position. Take care to fit the case the correct way up otherwise the magnetic on off will not work which may be the problem some other users have found. Inadvertently, I switched mine from the right way up to the wrong way and found that it would not turn off - until I spotted my error and switched it back. I had also covered up a couple of buttons on the side. I'm delighted with this product and would highly recommend it. Very good value too.

Best case I've had for my iPad. I recently bought a similar one that I initially liked but had to return for a refund as the plastic started to disintegrate and break after 3months. This one is covered with faux leather and seems very durable. A perfect fit for my iPad2, it stands up nicely without falling over when the front cover is folded in - the only stand to do so in my experience, including the official iPad case. The outside doesn't show stains e.g. from greasy fingers and the lining has a soft feel. No problem with the magnetic on/off either. I believe this was recommended by Which? and I can see why. Finally, there's a good choice of colours - I go for a naff bright one so that I can easily locate my iPad in my bag.
