Great for hard working dogs
Great food for dog athletes. My border collie runs 25 miles a week doing canicross. This food is helping her keeping her weight on and her energy up.

Gave my dogs terrible diarrhea.
Feed this overpriced food if you want instant diarrhea all over your house.

Yea
Why are you asking me about the flavor?

Two paws up from my crew!
You can't go wrong with any of Dr Tim's products! They were formulated through his many years of experience as a vet and working with competitive dogs; one of very few foods out there that has real world testing to backup their product. Many of the top Iditarod teams use his kibbles in addition to raw. All formulas are made and sourced in the USA with low ash meats. The quality for the price is amazing! Momentum is one of the lowest carb foods on the market, with over 90% meat based ingredients and no plant protein fillers (legumes, pea protein, pea fiber, potato protein, etc). I would say this formula and Pursuit are comparable in nutrition to many Orijen and Acana products but at a much better price. No they are not grain free, but at only 24% carbohydrate there isn't much in the formula, and again it isn't contributing to the total protein like most grain free fillers do.I chose Momentum for my dogs because they are active and I like the low carb content. I have a very picky 55 lb lab mix who scarfs this food down with no extras. My other dog is a 70 lb and growing GSD/husky pup; he has sensitive skin and a very sensitive stomach but this food works for both issues and is one of very few that doesn't give him loose stools, which surprised me since he usually doesn't do well with poultry! The calcium in this formula and all of Dr Tim's kibbles is low, which is important for growing large breed pups. At nearly 600 kcal/cup this is one of the most calorie dense kibbles on the market; a little goes a long way, which not only saves you money by feeding less but also results in less yard cleanup!I am very picky when it comes to what I feed my dogs; I've spent countless hours researching different options and I've tried many with my pups. This kibble works amazingly for both of my dogs' individual needs, plus it's very high quality and is one of the most affordable high tier brands out there! Oh, and did I mention that the manufacturer (Ohio Pet Foods) has never had a recall?? If you have any questions or concerns Dr Tim is available to answer questions himself via email or on his Facebook page; never heard of a pet food company's founder doing that before, but I wish more would! Momentum is my food of choice, but you can't go wrong with anything from Dr Tim! He clearly a stands behind his product, and the results I've had speak for themselves; bright eyes, high energy, soft coats, and small firm stools.
