Excellent Light-duty Bathroom Rack
My expectations were tempered by a lot of the reviews here on Amazon, so keep that in mind. - Once I figured out which side was the left and which was the right, assembly was easy. The directions were pretty good. - The unit is not very strong--there's a lot of wobble. I wanted something to load with hand towels, toilet paper, tissues, and a few other non-breakable things. For this, the rack is perfect. If you want to load breakables, I'd think twice. - There are two screw holes near the top of the rack on the back posts for anchoring it to the wall. If you're planning on putting heavy stuff on this rack, I'd take advantage of them. - The rack is nice-looking. I got the satin nickel finish, and I like it. - No quality-control issues. All the parts were there, instructions were included, and the finish was smooth and even. Summary: I got this on a lightening deal for about $18. Currently, the price is about $20. For that little money, I think this rack is an excellent deal. If the price starts hovering around the $25 mark...I'd have to think about it. As it is, as long as you know that this rack is for light items (and not for holding a microwave, as someone had asked about) and is not going to be an heirloom item you're going to pass on to your children, I think you'll be happy with it. It's all about managing your expectations...

Decent & useful for small spaces, but a few takeaways
Firstly I’ll say that this shelving unit has potential especially for smaller spaces. My bathroom is really small & there isn’t a lot of storage in my BR so this is helpful- there’s decent space on the shelves & the shelves seem sturdy enough although my bathroom items aren’t very heavy- it works, but here are my other take aways: -This isn’t a high quality product- it is a bit flimsy. The poles are super skinny (which is prob why it’s good for a small space), but don’t expect a heavy duty, super sturdy shelving unit cuz this ain’t it lol -DO NOT DO NOTTTT buy this item “used” from amazon! I got mine used and it said nothing was missing the box was just damaged- it was missing a ton of screws & one of the ends on one of the pieces was almost broken off- I ended up just breaking it off bc it wouldn’t have worked otherwise. Had to use a lot of heavy duty glue to make this work (didn’t have the patience or the time to return for a new one) Spend the extra $6 bucks or so & just get it new! -My toilet seat doesn’t clear the bottom shelf bc of missing screws so I had to glue the bottom shelf down so I could actually use it lol again don’t buy this used! -It was a little difficult to put together. Maybe that’s because I was missing pieces, but a few of the holes didn’t line up at all no matter how many times I took it apart & put it back together. The instructions are a little confusing & the pieces aren’t labeled. -I did paint this unit black so the color shown in the pic/video is not the color you’d receive -& lastly, sorry the video was so shaky lol but hope it was helpful! Overall it’s not a bad storage unit for the price & it'll def work for smaller spaces just do yourself a huge favor & do NOT buy it used!

Not difficult to put together, serves its purpose.
Okay, I'm leaving this positive review for this product because I think many of these reviews are ridiculous. I will admit, yes, it's cheap. What do you expect? I was able to find it here on Amazon for $20 versus it's regular price of $29, which first of all, I was happy about. I think many of these negative reviews are due to human error, this shelf was NOT that difficult to put together. Was it at times a bit confusing? Yes. But it was nothing a normal human shouldn't be able to figure out. I used common sense and referred to the instructions from time to time to help me put it together. I had to take it apart a few times and rearrange the pieces, because if the holes don't match up (as many people have said on here), it's because you have the bars in the wrong places. It clearly says that on the instructions. I think many people thought the holes didn't match up, didn't refer to the instructions to double check, gave up and left inaccurate, negative reviews as a result. The shelf is wobbly, yes, but you're not buying a fancy nice shelf for over your toilet. This is meant to serve a purpose and that's it. It wasn't the most difficult thing to put together and I think it will serve me well since I have limited counter space. If you want something that's not so cheap, try spending $50-60 or more on something else that also requires assembly. If you're a human with a brain, you should be able to put it together no problem and have a nice wire wrack to store towels and other items to save space.

Flimsy but it'll do for now!
This space saver rack is not the greatest quality. In fact, I'd say if you've got the money, go ahead and invest in a good quality one. Now for those of us that have to go with quantity over quality, here ya go..... I thought it was fairly easy to put together but the instructions were obviously not well thought out. A couple of confusing diagrams regarding assembly but once you figure it out, you've got it. Like I said, it's flimsy and by no means is that an understatement. It was flimsy while I assembled it and flimsy when I put it in my bathroom. In fact, the left legs slant inward for some reason and the two front legs don't appear to be the same length. They don't seem touch the floor adequately. It's so flimsy and lopsided, I was afraid it would tilt over and hit me on the head so I went ahead and mounted it with the included screws. That also proved to be problematic. The screws wouldn't go all the way into my plaster walls because the rack is not sturdy and doesn't lean all the way back. I still managed to tighten the screws as much as I could which produced a significant amount of sturdiness. I'd definitely suggest mounting this space rack because it'd only be a matter of time before it gives way! I bought shelf liners to put on the racks because I got sick of my stuff falling through the racks or tilting over. That was driving me crazy. Any little bump, and all came tumbling down. The shelf liners have been a life saver! 2 star deduction for the cheap quality and flimsiness.

Cheap and it does exactly what it says it does
When I read these reviews I was worried that this really was going to be unattractive and not stable at all, but I decided to give it a shot because it was less than $20 and our small 550 sq ft apartment has ZERO storage in the bathroom. I am so pleasantly surprised!!! Here is what we have done with this unit: We installed the unit behind our toilet and then lined the shelves with clear plastic shelving liners so that our small bottles of medicine, lotions, etc. wouldn't fall over when placed on the shelves (the only thing I really don't like about metal storage racks in general, not just this particular unit). We use baskets to store our items and we set those up as well on each side of each shelf. So, we have one basket on the top right corner, one basket on the left middle shelf, and one basket on the right bottom shelf. Try not to place heavy items on the middle of the shelves because this is a $20 shelving unit... It is NOT strong enough to hold anything heavier than a large candle from Yankee Candle on the middle of the shelf without slightly giving under the weight. No, it isn't obvious, but if you have a bunch of small bottles on the shelves, they WILL topple over (oops!). This is actually very attractive in our bathroom with our silver accents and I am very happy with this purchase. It looks more expensive than it was, but you can't expect it to be the most sturdy unit in the world. That said, I cannot tip it over by pulling and we haven't had any issues with it wobbling, it's just that the shelves will dip when too much weight is placed in the middle of the shelves- that is what I mean by it not being the MOST sturdy. I definitely suggest this spacesaver if you need storage in your bathroom!

Maybe I received a dud? Cannot assemble properly
Very disappointed with this product, even at the bargain price point. The instructions had one part mislabeled, which was confusing. For a moment, I thought I was missing that part. But I was able to figure that out, not too much trouble. Then it got worse. When assembled properly (I triple checked the instructions) there were four holes that did not line up. Two of them were close enough that I could get a screw in partially (see photo) so that was ok, though not ideal. The other two that didn’t line up were necessary for the shelf to be in place. I considered re-drilling the holes, but I did not have the proper tools. Instead, I found a workaround where I could install four poles upside down and make it all fit together. This means the decorative top piece is not connected, just resting on the top (see photo). I understand this is a cheap unit but I don’t think it’s too much to ask that it at least all fits together properly. I also noticed the unit I received looks like the product photos, but does not look like the other review photos. The shelves are a different shape. So I suspect that I received a different product than the ones in the positive reviews. Very unhappy with this purchase, do not recommend taking the chance that you may get shipped one of the duds.

Do it for your stress levels!
I LOVE this! It was a little frustrating to build, initially, because some of the diagrams seem backwards while others are easy to match. In the end, I just loosely followed it, making sure everything matched up along the way. The end result is wonderful - 4.90 stars (it isn't quite sturdy feeling, but that is likely the crappy flooring here, and it isn't intended to be super durable anyway). My sister and three year old nephew moved in recently and space is scarce. The bathroom especially was getting overwhelming because they love taking baths together and have every product you can imagine: bath crayons and markers, bath salts, various bath bombs, etc. Nothing wrong with that, but it's a lot! This shelf saved my sanity. By adding the most essential, used-daily products, everything feels easily accessible and organized. (Ignore the struggling plant, she's a fighter)

Works well! Sleek!
This a nice shelf for over the toilet. It was relatively easy to assemble and it has 3 shelves, which allows for ample storage. I have been using it for a few years and it has held up without any problems. It is a little wobbly, but it doesn’t get bumped often, so it’s not an issue. The sleek design makes it easy to clean around, which was important to me. The sleek, thin design also makes it so that it’s not too noticeable or over powering. I think the price should be a little less, but the shelf does do what you need it to.

Fast, easy, quick to build and install... what more could you want?
Install was super easy, took all the parts out - well packed - and then match the peices to the images and start tagging them together took probably all and all 5 minutes to identify to the picture and 15 mins to assemble. Its quite sturdy but based on how it is -- it could be flimsy depending the type of tile floor you got. I got a flat floor - it sits flat. You have a mis-shapped funky floor - you may notice a wobble. I did find that the actual shelves, the bars to hold things up, are slightly too far apart - round bottomed objects tended to fall over (contact solution, colognes, shaving cream etc) when I went to grab them - simple fix, add a fancy tea towel as the base. It gives it a little bit more design and keeps round things from falling. I dont blame the shelve for this though as its made for towels and tissue boxes -- I wanted it as a bathroom shelving unit and am happy to say with a small modification it is working great

Good product!
I really like this and looks great in my washroom. I assembled it myself and it was pretty straight forward if you follow instructions. I did not attach it to the wall and it's very very sturdy, it doesn't even move. I love it!

Does the job for not too heavy objects
It's not the sturdiest of shelving, but you'd expect that given what it's trying to do. It does well enough with typical bathroom objects you'd want to put shelves. We found it does well paired with containers to put on the shelves for storing things in.
