MSI Thunderstorm Aluminum Gaming Mousepad with Speed Surface Non-Slip Feet (Gf9-V000001-Eb9)

Its decent. I'm a fan of msi products so I decided to get this. Very nice quality. It's a bit too small, I find myself going off the pad at times when playing games. Also since it's made out of aluminum, it feels awkward. I just have it as a room decoration now. Nice to have if your a msi fan.

This is a hard mousepad, it is very sturdy and stable, does not slip as you move your mouse. Mouse movements are extremely comfortable on both surfaces. The top side (with the red dragon logo) gives you faster mouse speed whereas the other side gives you a precise control. I feel like I have a better heat shot rate using the control side when playing FPS games.

Unfortunately, I'm one of those that finds I'm unable to use this mousepad when its all said and done.Pros:1. The graphic is cool2. The mousepad sticks to your desk and doesn't moveCons:1. I'm finding some strange "catching" between multiple mice and the mousepad; so much so that its scratching the mousepad and the underside of both mice I've tired. I thought the mousepad was bowing up in the middle but am unable to see any bending of any sort that might yield the catching towards the middle of the mousepad.2. I too have issues with my mouse not tracking properly over the dragon logoAt this point, its either keep using the mouse pad and continually feel like there is something between the mouse and mousepad (which results in me picking up the mouse and wiping the mousepad off over and over --seriously annoying-- only to find nothing there) OR give up and put it aside. I've decided to put it aside and go back to my RATPADZ GS

This mousepad is fantastic. My mouse unfortunately can't track on the "control" surface but the speed surface has been a fantastic tool to help me stay accurate and involved. Huge surface and stable feet, I've not had to worry about running off the side with my particular control style. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a decent gaming mouse. You will feel the difference. Subtle or otherwise.

Mouse pad was bigger than it was shown on the pictures which was just what I wanted! Mouse pad is may be very hard and solid but they are made for performance. I am very happy with the product.

A highly durable and fantastic mouse pad! I'm absolutely loving this and I use it everyday to go along with my MSI GE62 Apache Pro! Dual sided panels that allow for speed (FPS) and control (MMO's/MOBA) and both sides work great! Highly recommend this!

Just get it!!!!! This is the best thing I have bought for my gaming! Its just so awesome to use it! That and my friends back home in SA are all super jealous because it is super expensive to get it there!

3/23/2017:I actually like this mousepad a lot. This particular mousepad may not be for everyone as I game, programming, and work on photos and videos. it does feels pretty sturdy and it's much easier for me to keep it clean too. I have gone through a cheap mousepad for 3 years and I remember feeling that poor simplistic mousepad so worn out. I even saw some indentations around the middle.I'll see on how this MSI ThunderStorm Aluminum Gaming Mousepad will hold itself together. In my case I am hoping for a couple of years or more. Thanks to the silicone feet, I had no slip and sliding of the mousepad. Maybe the only minor issue is the L-shape of the mousepad since I kept the red dragon design faced up. I'm a right-hand mouse user, so it was awkward for me at first. I placed the mousepad next to my keyboard until it felt comfortable without me accidentally sliding my mouse off the L-shape.Keep in mind that this mousepad comes with a anti-microbial cleaning cloth and nitoflon adhesive tape too. You use the tape if you think your mouse needs a smoother traction upon the mousepad. I haven't used my tape yet. I think if you use the other side of the mousepad which has the MSI logo only, it feels smoother while the MSI dragon design is a little more rough. This all varies upon your mouse of course, as I use a Mad Catz R.A.T.TE, (MCB437040013/04/1).I only had this for a month now, but I'll update my review if anything comes to my attention. Thanks for this awesome mousepad, I have been loving it so far.UPDATE @ 8/19/2019:So... I no longer use this as a mousepad since year 2018. So obvious I suppose. What I discovered overtime was the scratches under my mouse became bad. That mouse you see on my images had worn out overtime. To a point the mouse's laser wasn't detecting the surface of this mousepad and any other mousepad anymore.I say it was an OK mousepad until my issue occurred with my mouse. Most likely due to me since I'm a claw gripper but it was unfortunate to see my mouse worn out in a year's time. It's a great coffee mug holder now and still looks cool. Kills the purpose of this mousepad of course.Keep in mind this is just me, doesn't speak for everyone. And this is something to be aware of if you are claw mouse gripper like me. I suggest using the tape that is provided with this mousepad for your own mouse to prevent further damage underneath it. Otherwise look else where for a mousepad.

Nice pad, works well with mouse. Would have been a 5 star if it were bigger (I'm used to a 30" pad)

Used my mouse on this for about 5 seconds and it already has a ton of light scratches. No way this mouse pad will last. Have another mouse pad that's also aluminum that I've used for about 7 years (with the same mouse I used on this MSI mouse pad) and barely has any scratches. Returned to Amazon.

This is an overpriced piece of brushed aluminum, painted black, masquerading as a mousepad. It was bought to solve a tracking issue for a difficult mouse but did not solve the problem. For the price, I could have bought 10 ordinary mousepads that would have done the same. Too much hype, no substance. Definitely not worth the price
