Ultrawide is great for productivity.
The extra screen space is great and the picture quality is wonderful. Colors are great. Used on a Tongfang linux laptop and a 2018 Macbook pro. Great for both with the appropriate connection (DP 1.3+ or HDMI 2.0+). The 75 Hz refresh rate is really nice. Not in that it's super obvious while using, but over time I notice slightly less strain as compared to 60hz. The stand is also really well constructed and feels very sturdy. And while on perks, I appreciate the USB hub as well. The lack of curve on this is probably polarizing. I probably Wouldn't seek it out for gaming where I would want to be able to see the whole screen uniformly from one spot, but for work I think it's a non-issue where I would try to physically move a bit at my desk anyways. Which isn't to say I wouldn't or haven't played games on it. And it's done just fine too.Keep in mind that for Macbooks or other thunderbolt-exclusive laptops, this will require an HDMI 2.0 or greater connection and most affordable thunderbolt3 dongles are only up to HDMI 1.4, so they won't be able to run this at full resolution. You'll need to specifically seek out a Thunderbolt 3 Displayport or HDMI cable, or get a specifically HDMI 2.0 dongle or dock. Docks tend to have higher revision HDMI, but they do cost more. The cable is probably the most economical choice in this situation.

Simple Needs Satisfied
If it comes in bad, just ask for a new one. The first one i got works great. If youre a simple guy like me, programmer who doesn't reallly need all the fancy features you prolly wont notice, then this is more than enough.

3440 x 1440 resolution didn't appear automatically on my MacMini, but got it to work...read.
On my MacMini 202 (Apple Silicon) running Big Sur version of Mac OS, the settings didn't show the 3440 x 1440 resolution option. You have to hold the Option key down when you click on the Scaled option to see all available options. When I did that, I was able to select the 3440 x 1440 resolution. I am now running the monitor satisfactorily at 3440 x 1440 @75 Hertz.Everything seems to work fine. Decent monitor, give the low cost for this high of a resolution wide display. I had no missing pixels. So far, so good.

Love the wide screen
It's nice to be able to have more than one window open at a time on the same screen. Good picture quality.

Great if you are sitting back
It's a bit wide for not being curved. Kinda at the limit

Roll of the dice
I took a chance on this monitor and after setting it up I am considering sending it back. The monitor came with a usb and hdmi cable, but no power cable! Luckily I have them in spades since its a typical 3 prong type. The biggest disappointment is that it won't do the full 3440x1440 resolution over hdmi. I have a 34" LG monitor at work that runs 3440x1440 over the hdmi port from my laptop without issue. Researching this a bit, I found that other similar Acer monitors will only go to the full resolution over DisplayPort... and I don't have a DP cable, or an DP port on my laptop.

Defective and unusable
I bough a renewed monitor and it is defective. There are 2 large death spots on the corner and the screen quality is really horrible. I requested refund the same day.

Great renewed monitor
Packaging was pretty basic, but the monitor was well protected. Not a single dead pixel. VERY bright and clear screen. Came with everything necessary to be up and running fast.I mostly use it for work (manufacturing software development), but I occasionally go old school and play EverQuest on it and it's been great. Movies play well also. Considering a second one.

A great monitor
This is perfect for my needs. It's my first time purchasing a refurbished product. I am very happy with the quality and price. It arrived well packaged. The base of the stand has a small mark on it but that's fine. Everything else works perfect.

Decent 4k screen for the price
Bezel is 2mm ...which is good.Unused perimeter of screen is 6mm, ok but would like it to be less. These Acer screens are great compared to my three 9 year old Dell 24" 1920x1200 screenswhich have 20mm bezels and 2mm dead zone around perimeter.I triple screen so a small bezel is a must. The stands are of Excellent quality. These IPS screens are very good for color and sharpness.I'm not a competition gamer so 60hz is fine. With 3 of these screens its going to take next generation graphics cards to approach 60 frames per second.
