Milliard Malic Acid 1 Pound

This Malic Acid is delightfully cheap and performs well. I use a lot of powdered acids in my job to create various elixirs for cocktails and sometimes I run into acid that comes clumpy, ill packaged, or is a touch off in consistency. This Malic Acid is not that. The acid performs well in any syrup I've created and is great for adding, well, a touch of acid to my elixirs or even vinaigrettes in cooking. Like the other reviewer has stated, the malic acid reminds the palate of apples. Used in moderation, this acid instantly reminds me of tart, granny smith apples. I'd recommend using this if you're looking to add a little bit of apple-tartness to your dishes or even blending it with citric acid to create a unique and more interesting acidic profile.

WARNING: DO NOT LET THIS SIT ON YOUR TEETH! Drink water and brush your teeth after eating this on it's own or the enamel on your teeth will be dissolved very quickly which can cause cavities.I got this as a present for a friend that loves sour candy and couldn't find something sour enough...This is basically the most sour thing you can eat, it makes my entire face scrunch up and I flail my arms because it is THAT sour - just from a small teaspoon or less.

It does what it is supposed to do so I say the quality is good. Well packaged and not clumpy.

I love this so much. I have quite an addiction to sour candies. I am a real sour head. I love warheads and sour patch kids so much, but the ingredients and sugar were too much for me to feel good about eating them as much as I craved it. Now with this malic acid, I just sprinkle this on top of dried kiwis or other dried fruits that are a little gummy after dehydrating. I also sprinkle it on top of homemade fruit leather and it feels like those sour belts you can buy at candy stores. I also mix it with water, a couple drops of candy flavor oil, and put it in a dropper bottle to mimic the warheads sour candy drops. Lastly, they taste great mixed with sweet grapes!!!! Overall, this is going to help me stay away from the unhealthy things while letting me have the things I love.

Personally i love sour to death. Even while writing this my mouth is watering lol. But this is the essence of sour, what i mean is it doesn't really taste like anything recognizable. My friends would always ask what it is or what's it like and i would have to explain that theirs 2 sours citric acid and malic acid where one has a flavor and the others flavor is pure sour. 10/10 would recomend if you like sour. I used it in cotton candy and it was fantastic.

My friends and I ate a spoonful of this and it burned. A lot. All of our taste buds off. I couldn't taste food for a week. Chipotle was hard to eat. Toothpaste tasted like nothing, as if I was washing my mouth with saliva. I probably lost some pounds from my desire to eat being diminished.Overall a great product. 10/10

dont eat a spoonful of this, you wont taste anything for a whilenot as sour as i expected but still the most sour i've had

Loved this product!!! Came in on time and exactly what I wanted. Nothing is ever sour enough for me and this stuff is just amazing. I can make any candy I want more sour and even make my own sour candy. Really happy and impressed cause not a lot of things are sour to me.
