Hardcover v. No Section Breaks
I have converted to Moleskine since a friend gave me a planner in 2012 for my birthday. I love love love them. I buy a planner each year, and purchase several other items from Moleskine on a regular basis. I the use 7.5" x 10" notebook for work instead of the yellow notepads because it looks more professional and is a better way to keep my notes all in one place. I got frustrated when other notepads would fray at the bottom or the perforated pages would fall out. The pocket in the back is also great for keeping business cards on hand. Although Moleskines are more expensive, you do get what you pay for.I purchased the softcover (regular) ruled notebook before buying this one. I liked it, but thought a hardcover would look nicer. So, I purchased this one when it came time for a new one. My only issue with this notebook, and it's apparently the difference between loving it and thinking it's just okay, is the segregated sections on each page. (I have tried to adjust by using the outside skinny column for "to-do" lists, which is working out pretty nicely.) To be fair to Moleskine, I had this hesitation when I first purchased it, as I am used to the soft-cover, where the ruled lines going all the way across the page without any breaks. However, I thought this feature would be worth being able to have a hardcover notebook. After using it for about 6 months now, though, I think am ready to go back to the soft-cover. I take notes on a daily basis and am barely halfway through, so they do last a long time (definitely a positive comment, not a complaint). At the end of the day, it's difficult to dislike a Moleskine product. I will gladly keep using this one until the last page. But I hope Moleskine makes a hard-cover notebook with fully ruled pages soon!

For the uber organized
If you are a project manager, this notebook is for you. If you are a "free thinker" (aka you can't be boxed in with lines and boxes when you record your notes and ideas), go for one of the many other moleskine selections better for you. This notebook wasn't for me because I am not a project manager and have terrible note-taking styled. I opted for the graph paper notebooks and love them. (At least they keep my writing looking neater!)I wished this notebook was softcover; I am always looking for ways to reduce weight in the things I must carry regulatory. If carrying/weight is not an issue, the hardcover makes for nice presentation and is durable beyond imagination.A good purchase, if your needs match the unique features it offers.

Great for Meetings
I'm a longtime fan of Moleskine. Now that my life consists of a neverending series of meetings, I was looking for something that would make it easier for me to find a particular note and keep a to-do list related to individual meetings. After using this for a few weeks, I think it's better than the plain notebooks, and I like how the individual pages are divided into three separate areas for different kinds of things. I have yet to use the tear out list pages, but I'm sure they will come in handy at soem point.I can also see this as being perfect for a project manager. The paper is a little thinner than my last Moleskine notebook, but I'm not seeing a lot of ink bleedthrough.

Still getting use to it but so far so good.
I used composition notebooks for the last 20 years - for work. Daily notes, etc. for each (M-F). Recently I started my own business and thought the Moleskin would "look" more professional than a composition notebook. I am happy to report that it does. The Moleskin is a bit more regimented than a composition notebook but I like the set and quality. I have used the smaller Moleskin diaries for years so if you are a fan this will not disappoint. Took a start off because I think this is a bit pricier than it needs to be.

An indispensable tool
I love these notebooks. I'm buying my fourth one right now. The format has helped me capture action items, todo lists, and meeting notes--all on the same two-page spread each day, and the table of contents pages help me organize my notes for future reference. I don't use a fountain pen on these pages, which are fairly thin, but I find that felt tipped and gel pens work just fine with no bleedthrough.

It still isn't the perfect notebook for moving from the office out into the field, but I like the pocket in the back, the setup of the pages and the simplicity of the design in general.

Could be Better
I like Moleskine products. I was wanting to get another A4 daily journal, but Moleskine stopped selling/producing them. So I settled on this. I wish there were more pages, and it was bigger size, like the A4 I used last year. I just started to use it and will see what I think about it as time goes on.

Thinner paper than normal Moleskine
I like the project layout, line spacing is perfect, colour is good, the whole feel is unmistakenkenly Moleskine. But the paper is only 70gsm against the normal folio range which is 100gsm, so the ink bleeds through from my fountain pen and pressure from my rollerball pen can be seen several pages trough. Its my own mistake and I should have checked gsm before purchasing... but I thought Moleskine always used the same quality paper. Everything else is good about this, but bear the paper quality in mind when deciding.

Very functional!
I ordered this to start a rather large project at work. I needed something that was of a good quality, looked professional and could organise me. This delivers in all ways. The general layout of the notebook is quite plain but it means it can be adapted (especially with the tabs and stickers provided.)I would recommend this to anyone.

Great Notebook
I wanted to try this for one of my writing projects. It's a great notebook for arranging projects. I'm using it as way of keeping tracks of my various blog posts for a number of blogs I write for.Great quality as also as you'd expect from Moleskine.

Very useful for my thesis
I very much enjoy using this professional notebook to keep track of my thesis work every single day. I like the layout and the quality of the notebook. That said, out of the two notebooks I ordered one was not properly bound and pages fell out on the first day of use. Amazon provided fantastic service and sent me a replacement item right away, which is in perfect condition. For this reason I would advise you to check your item for defects when delivered because some flaws do make it past quality control.

A good buy for any researcher
Fantastic product. As name suggests I'm involved in doctoral research and this notebook acts as wonderful research diary. I always use pencil so I don't worry about the thinness of the paper but think it might struggle if you were to use fountain pen.
