Duro-Med Call Bell, Silver and Black

So this rings when you shake it. It has a doo hickey in it that hits the side and makes a noise. It's a nice size- not too big, not too small. It's lightweight You have to put in a little effort to ring it because the doo hickey previously mentioned isn't heavy. It won't make the ringy dingy sound just by picking it up or tipping it a little. You have to whack doo hicky against the side.

For snagging this bell up last minute to use in sales office when a sale is made at $3 and change I would say this is great quality and we will get tons of use out of it. I look deep for a good deal but I also like good quality so I say this is not one of those “you get what you pay for “ items because I would say that the quality is much better than what I paid. Recommend and this has seal of approval!

I love this bell. I use it for my monthly Bunco game activities. It is loud enough, but not annoying.

My wife had a stroke late 2024 so I was looking for a way for her to call for me if I was not in the same room. This bell does the trick. It will wake you up for sure. Does the intended job. Great for the user, not necessarily for the person that is meant to hear it. LOL

I just got two of these bells. Each one is made of chrome-plated steel, with a lead striker which hangs from one end of two interconnected metal clips. The top of the second clip is attached to a metal ring inside the bell at the end of a wooden handle. The reason I didn't give these bells five stars is because the top end of the top clip inside one of the bells is wedged under the ring inside that it is attached to, limiting the movement of the mechanism. The other bell works fine, and has a nice sound, though it is not very loud. I would recommend getting two of these bells, just in case one is defective.

We got this for our daughter to get our attention while she recovered from knee surgery and she loves it but we actually do too. It's loud and high pitched enough to hear over tv or a movie and across the house so we could help her when needed. Loved this and so happy we got it.

Purchased this as a joke to someone we have fun with and kept calling our "butler", etc. Very nice quality bell which served it's purpose - it provided some very good laughs for my family and friends and we still use a lot to keep the joke going. However, I'm sure everyone isn't buying this for a gag or prank like we did, so I will say this bell is sturdy, well made, high quality and you'll be very impressed of how nice this bell really is for the price of it - I honestly expected a cheaply made product that could break easily, but I was VERY wrong... this bell will definitely serve it's purpose for whatever reason you're buying it. We all recommend this cute bell!!!

My father had become bedridden and we needed a way for him to get our attention quickly. The medical bell was perfect. Great value and believe it or not, it helped to reduce our stress level because you could definitely hear when it was rung. He has passed, but that bell will be both functional and very durable for a very long time.
