I think anyone reading this review is probably already aware of the healthful benefit claims of taking black seed oil so I won't cover the basics but do want to add that as far as I know it is 500% stronger at raising glutathione levels than anything other than intravenous glutathione drip or slow-push. I am very pleased with the artisan cold-pressed black seed oil I received from Amazing Herbs. I often feel that manufacturers are dishonest in their labeling but not so with Amazing Herbs. I felt the oil was solvent-free and I often taste solvents in other supposedly solvent-free oils by other manufacturers. Also this is artisan cold pressed and you can taste the quality. Also, mine is very fresh and definitely not rancid. This very clean oil absorbs very well. You can apply to skin and it will absorb and make your skin silky smooth. For the past 2 years I've been on a journey of natural homeopathic healing. I suffer from many health issues, and because I do not have health insurance, this has truly been my only option. And in general, I do not want to be on pharmaceuticals or unnatural treatments. I already oil pull twice a day with pure coconut oil. I use my magnesium oil, apple cider vinegar, dead sea salt, baking soda and honey, as a part of my everyday routines. All that said, while there has been a difference in my health ... definitely, enough to keep going with it ... I have had days of total fatigue and weakness, to where it was a struggle to lift my arms over my head, and my legs felt like melted butter when I'd walk. I am also going through the change of life, which has compounded the situation. Frustrated, but still hopeful, I went back to my research, to see if there was anything else I could try. I had known about Black Seed Oil, and that whole "it cures everything but death itself", for at least a year ... but honestly it sounded so hyped, that it put me off. However, it kept coming up in my research, so I decided to give a small bottle a try. I started out with a simple teaspoon. After dealing with the horrific tasting likes of apple cider vinegar, (which I can take a teaspoon straight if I have to), I found the black seed oil to be a BREEZE to taste and swallow. Both my daughters did not have any problem taking a spoonful of it (and believe me, they are WIMPS with that stuff). I did have my sister say it tasted like turpentine, but considering I almost poisoned myself as a kid when I drank from a bottle of turpentine, I think that is a gross exaggeration. Black seed oil is mostly bland, with a hint of spice in your throat, that goes away within seconds. Now that I've been taking it a few weeks, I actually look forward to the taste. There is a recipe for weight loss that includes 1 teaspoon Black Seed Oil, 1 teaspoon honey, and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of organic (ceylon) cinnamon in a 6 oz cup of hot water (like a tea). She only started the recipe a week ago and her jeans are already a little loose. It's tough to get a teenager to focus on their health, they are so involved in other things, but my daughter LOVES this oil so much, she never fails to take it everyday. I don't normally ever leave reviews this long, but I just can't say enough about it. Bottom line, this one is really not just hype. It WORKS, and for SO many things. The oil has 100 healing components which work together in a synergetic effect. If you are on the fence, I HIGHLY recommend trying it. While I cannot claim it works for everyone, I can absolutely say this is my TOP natural remedy and will forever be in use in our home. I came to Amazon to buy the largest size they had, the 32 ounce. While it's not the cheapest oil to purchase, it's SO worth it.

I rarely, if ever write reviews because (1) I’m too lazy and (2) I never feel that strongly about anything, BUT today I have to spread The Gospel of Black Seed Oil (forgive me Jesus). I initially tried this because of painful stiffness in my left knee (it’s been arthritic since I was 11), I’m now a lady of a certain age 😉, so I’ve had this issue for a while, and I have horrrrible sleeping habits (addicted to social media, smartphone and tablet *sigh*). Of course, I read what everyone was saying that Black Seed Oil cured everything other than Death, and this brand was recommended in a Facebook group I was in (shout out to Weightloss for Melanated Beauties!)💋Soooooo...I tried the oil!😳🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮The taste, the taste, the taste...Sweet Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the donkey, the stable, the manger and all the other animals!!! It was indescribably disgusting! It really was! It made me shudder and gag! But, it made me sleep like a baby, such a deep and restful sleep...I literally jumped out of bed alert and with so much energy the following morning and I swear, I kid you not, the stiffness in my left knee was gone. I could bend it without pain (Thank you Jesus!)🙌🏾 So I manned up when it came to the taste, because the benefits was worth it. By the 3rd or 4th day, there was such a feeling of wellness in my body, yes I felt a profound feeling of wellness (it was remarkable to me), and I was energetic. I still loathed the abominable taste, but again the benefits. I just made sure I chased the taste out my mouth with a carbonated beverage, or IMMEDIATELY vigorously brushing my teeth when I took a quick shot of it in the morning, just a mouthful. Oh! I came back on Amazon and saw that it also came in gel tabs, I purchased those so quickly my head spun!😳 So the thing of it is, for me, the gel tabs do not give me that extra pep in my step or that feeling of wellness, but my skin is so soft. It’s not dry, damaged and looking like crepe paper. It’s glowing, coco brown and healthy looking. I’ll take whatever benefits it provides, as long as I don’t have to deal with that taste. *shudder* I also recommended Black Seed Oil to my husband, as he suffers from Fibromyalgia. He doesn’t take the recommend dosage as he doesn’t like consuming too many pills, but he does say that it helps with the pain he suffers in the morning. Seriously, I do love this product and I would encourage everyone to take it. It really does work for me and I’ll let you know if it did anything for my HBP and good cholesterol after my next Dr.’s visit.👋

I’ve been using this black seed oil for a while, and overall I’ve had a positive experience with it. The bottle size is quite large, and in the picture you can clearly see it compared to my hand, which helps show the actual size. Because of this, it lasts for a long time, even with regular use, which makes it good value for money. Over time, I noticed it fits well into my daily routine and feels like a consistent natural supplement that I keep coming back to. The oil has a strong natural taste, but that is expected for black seed oil. I also appreciate that it is cold-pressed and non-GMO. Overall, it has been a good quality product for long-term use, and I would consider repurchasing it.

I just received this in the mail, so I cannot comment on the actual effectiveness of the product. I compared this product to Black Seed Oil that we came back with from Yemen and they are slightly different. Amazing Herbs is on the left. As you can see, it is lighter in color than the one from Yemen. When I was blindfolded to smell both oils, the scent for this wasn't AS strong as the one from Yemen. And the taste of the Yemenese Black Seed Oil was extremely...like agonizingly pungent as opposed to the Amazing Herbs one, which, was much more moderate and tolerable (still very pungent though). Needless to say, the Amazing Herbs Black Seed oil seems great and is able to do a phenomenal job as it is, judging by these reviews. Black Seed Oil is known to come in varying strengths, depending on its native origin/where its grown so this review is NOT meant as a reflection on the company's ethical conduct. It is important to pay attention to the strength of the Thymoquinone content; the active ingredient in Black Seed Oil and one of the main reasons for Black seed oil's miraculous effectiveness. So the greater the Thymoquinone content, the more powerful the oil. This oil has 1.1% thymoquinone amount. The strongest Black Seed oils in the world have as much as 4.6% volatile oil and 2% thymoquinone content. I am suspecting the one we have from Yemen simply has higher Thymoquinone content than the Amazing Herbs brand. The great thing about Amazing Herbs, is the price relative to the amount. 16oz for 25 dollars is a relatively good deal *especially* with such qualitative certifications. As far as googling goes, The Blessed Seed brand seems like the only company offering stronger Black Seed Oils (~2% Thymoquinone amount). Though 18 dollars at 3.4 oz is definitely a pretty penny. I will be ordering from them soon too and will edit this comment to compare all three. My plan is to use the Amazing Herbs brand as just a general health maintenance supplement, and on those days I have more bothersome or immediate health issues, consuming the stronger one (which I'm anticipating to be The Blessed Seed brand). Though the Amazing Herbs brand could probably work just fine for whatever health/medical intentions you have, as most of the reviewers here are implying. Hope this review helps. Edit November 2 2016: Blessed Seed brand was about the same in potency. I'm still on the search for more potent brands. But this shall get the job done in the mean time.

Great quality. Noticable health benefits! Hair and skin. Even cleared my white patches on my tongue. After taste altered my taste buds at first. I started adding local honey to it. Now it taste fine — and peppery but tolerable!

Of course it taste nasty, but just chase it down with a sip of coffee. The health benefits out weigh the taste.

Have been using Amazing herbs Black seed oil for the last 2 years and quite happy with it. Oil was packaged well but the bottle is made with plastic unlike the smaller bottles from Amazing Herbs. Oil has authentic and natural flavour.

Since Marijuana has not been made legal yet, in this country - after much research; this seemed like the next best option as the active ingredient in the oil - Thymoquinone - has indications of anti-cancer properties. As I said above; the user of this oil has had a lump on their arm for over two decades and until recently; had no negative effects on their lifestyle. Over the past 3 years the lump grown large enough to impinge on nerves within the arm that would leave it numb from bicep to fingertips, after sleeping and unable to raise their arm over above shoulder level. In mid September 2015; the growth rate accelerated and the pain/pressure within the arm from the lump became so great that they could not sleep lying down. They began using this oil topically in late September and and the lump began shrinking rapidly. By the end of November the size had shrunk down to the size it was over a decade ago. Since then the user has been applying it daily to the site of the growth to maintain the effect. They are now able to sleep with no issues and can lift the whole arm straight up. Not just shoulder level, with no pain whatsoever. After the initial dramatic shrinkage; the effect has either leveled off or the faster growing matter that caused the physical problems was killed off, leaving the more resilient core tissue. The lump is still slowly shrinking, albeit very slowly. Nothing like the initial crazy fast deflation-like change. ---- The only personal observation I can make about this product is that it stinks. Seriously - I thought I had been shipped a box full of crushed pencil crayons. That is what the oil smells like to me.
