It is a little bit flimsy but it does its job. I bought it for winding strings and it does that fine. It doesn't do well pulling the pegs but the ones on my guitar are recessed pretty far so it's not the fault of the winder. It was a good purchase for the money, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Perfect! This is exactly what I expected. Not the best quality craftsmanship, but for the price I really can't complain. I have owned more just like this one and have never been disappointed. They will definitely wear out faster than their more expensive higher quality counterparts, but again for the price you will get no complaints from me.

The peg remover is way to small to actually remove the pegs. I put a lot of force into it, and it still would never work. It works to spin the tuning pegs perfectly well, and the plastic is honestly better quality than I thought it would be for the price. However, I still can't recommend borrowing it, because I felt like I was going to scratch my guitar attempting to remove the pegs.

The notch for pulling pins is not tapered. Therefore, it doesn't get underneath the pins to pull them. It gets 2 stars because it does help you turn the tuner keys faster. Spend a little more for a better winder if you are buying it for an acoustic guitar.

Standard sidewinder for changing guitar strings. It's smaller than others I've purchased and a little harder to use therefore. But okay for its purpose.

I have used the tool and found that it works well, but the part that is supposed to be used to help pull the pins will not work if your pin heads are flush with the wood surface. It will not accept the pin head and will not help to pull it out. No big deal though.

Unit is functional for what it is, a low-cost device to quickly wind strings. Head is too big for use on 12-string.
