Great for fuming white oak
Worked as expected. Used it to fume some white oak and it worked fantastically.

Regarding use on coin and metal artifact hoards
The action is gentler and more gradual in removing soils and corrosion products than dilute hydrochloric (muriatic) acid. However it is totally nasty to work with. You will want a gas mask, eye protection, and a strong vent fan to remove fumes. Never leave it in contact with air for more than a few seconds, or get it on your skin.
