The first pair was great and lasted me over a year at my restaurant ...
This is the second pair of these Iโve bought. The first pair was great and lasted me over a year at my restaurant job. I replaced the insoles after 8 months or so, but the shoes were stellar. My second pair has been troublesome. They fit the same and look nice, but they are VERY slippery in the kitchen, and not remotely what I expected from a non-slip shoe. I recall that my first pair were slippery at first, but acclimated to non-slip after a few days, but Iโm a month into this new pair and they are still extremely slippery on wet surfaces. I wouldnโt mind if these were $40 sketchers, but for $100+ I expect a product that doesnโt put me in danger. I donโt think Iโll buy another pair from this company.

Keen, No Longer A Great Shoe
Keen used to be a great comfortable sturdy shoe. I have worn Keen's for about 6 years now and loved them. They were the only shoe that I could wear all day long at work and come home with no foot pain. That was before I received this last pair. Immediately out of the box I could feel that they were way lighter and felt cheap. I thought, ok I guess they are using lighter material. So I put them on and could tell that they weren't the same shoe that I had been wearing for all those years. I wore them to work the next day and came home with sore feet. I have been wearing them for a few months now and my feet are getting progressively worse. I wish I hadn't thrown my old pair away. Oh well, I will have to now find another shoe company with comparable comfort to the old Keen. I wish companies would just raise their prices and keep the quality the same. Adios Keen!

Do not buy!
Shoes fit good, but started to tear on the left shoe only after owning them for two months. I expected Keen shoes to last longer based on their reputation. I will never buy another pair. Extremely dissatisfied.. ๐๐ป๐๐ป

Super comfortable and super durable
I wear these virtually every day at work for 10+ hours. At least half that time is standing or walking. I have always had wide feet, but about 5 years ago I started having toe pain in almost any shoe I tried. It's been 4 years since I bought my first pair of these so I don't completely remember, but I think it was the Keen website that has a sizing tool. You measure your foot or print out a template or something. Anyway I ended up getting what was recommended and no more toe pain. It's a shame I can't wear anything else, but I'm glad I have something. They're not cheap, but I can't tell the difference between my 2015 pair and my 2017 pair. I bought another pair in 2019 just to keep in the box because I'm so dependent on these comfortable shoes, but I like them so much better than the Sketchers that I used to wear that would fall apart in a couple of years (I literally had the sole fall off a pair of my Sketchers tennis shoes and my sketcher's work shoes. And those I rotated, the Keen I wear the same pair every day so it gets much more wear, but lasts much longer. I was reading some negative reviews on here from 2015 & 2016 saying they didn't last well, so I felt compelled to add my experience as it was not the same. I'm actually tempted to buy a 4th pair even though I don't need it because I don't know what I'm going to do it if they discontinue this model. Everything else hurts my toes to some degree.

Poor quality leather, makes my feet stink
The shoes are comfortable and lightweight which was a great to start, however after a few days of wearing them I'm noticing some things I don't like. The outside material feels cheap and when I walk my shoes sound like they are made of plastic. I do not anticipate these lasting very long, and the noise is a nuance when walking. I've also just recently started to notice that my feet stink while wearing these. I do not have this problem with any other pair of shoes, so I'm guessing they do not breathe well. Previously I had a pair of Merrells that looked very similar, but the leather was much higher quality and they did not have this breathing issue.

I've tried to listen to my co-workers and have tried every other kind of boot there is and have wasted so much money
I'm a full-time firefighter/paramedic and are up on my feet all the time. I've tried to listen to my co-workers and have tried every other kind of boot there is and have wasted so much money. I saw another co-worker wearing these one day and he stated once you try them you wont go back. I gave it a try and now on my 2nd pair. Love them, don't hesitate just buy them!

Love Keens but quality is disappointing.
Throughly disappointed in this shoe. Had them sitting new in the box until February of 2018 as I unexpectedly given new shoes. Was using them 5 to 7 days a week for 12 to 18 hours and foam is already torn and missing in the toe box and outside edge of my feet. I expected $100 shoes to last longer than a month and a half. The nonslip is phenomenal but there is no point if my feet are hurting. I'm 6 foot 190 lbs and wear size 12.I love keens but these were horrid.

Comfortable fit for wide feet, but doesn't last under regular use.
This is the second pair of Keen Oxfords I've had.I originally got them (and custom orthotic inserts) because of a podiatrist's recommendation. I like the way they fit my feet, but the first pair separated from the sole on the left shoe after two months of wearing. I know I'm hard on shoes, but when you drop $100 on work shoes, you expect them to last a bit longer than that. I decided to give them another shot - maybe it was just that pair?On to my current pair: I've had them for almost a week now and they've started to separate from the sole on the right shoe. When these do finally come apart, I will not be getting another pair of Keen's. Hopefully I can find something more durable while still being comfortable.

Very comfortable shoes. I switched to Keen shoes after going through several pairs of MBT shoes. In each case the foam in the rocker part of the MBT soles disintegrated prematurely and after trying unsuccessfully to glue the soles back together, finally threw in the towel and switched to the Keen's at the recommendation of my brother-in-law who also had problems with his MBT's. Though the Keen shoes are not rockers, they are very comfortable and don't have the foam construction of the MBT's so anticipate they will last much longer.

My Son loves them!
My son loves these for work. He Works in the theatre serving food and is on his feet the whole time. They fit great right off the start. With having no seams there is no rubbing so no sore spots. They give him good support so his back is feeling better. Over all a great shoe for the industry he is in. Great shoes!

No safety toe
I bought these shoes as safety shoes required for my work. When they arrived I discovered that they lacked the safety toe which is a mandatory requirement. The item description was not clear when it referred to its safety rating.
