Great kit, glad I bought it
I wanted to give tattooing a try and decided to give this a shot. I will say I’m enjoying it very much. I was reluctant after reading the negative reviews of the power supply. I think if instructions were included, people would be better off. I started with the conventional liner, and noticed it did stop power after a bit. Then, I switched from using two rubber bands to one. That made a world of a difference with power consistency. The conventional liner had some loose parts, out the box, that needed tightening. After that, I can drop the power down to 3.5 and still run well. Eventually, I’ll get a wireless tattoo pen just for ease of use. I do recommend this kit for anyone. I would also recommend a few other things, to get started practicing: -Buy tattoo skins to practice on (you only get one with the kit) -Buy a bottle of black ink (ink with set doesn’t seem to be of great quality) -Buy a bottle of stencil stuff (this will help your stencils stick to skin)

For this price nobody should be complaining!
First off let me say I have I used the needles and also the inks with this package. I can only vouch for my own experience. Some of the best tattoos I have seen have come from prison and that was using threading needles and ballpoint pen ink in less than desirable and sanitary conditions. I paid $62.99 for this kit and I would pay that for a dummy machine just to learn how to disassemble and reassemble the parts. But this is an actual working machine with everything you'd need and than some to produce actual tattoos. #1 If you do not know how to assemble a machine you may burn your power supply out. There is a lot of fine tuning needed to get your machine working right, so Youtube as many videos as you can BEFORE you flip the switches and than wonder why you burned your supply out running 10 amps when your rubber bands are clenching the needle so tight it can barely move. #2 If you are worried about the needles in this kit I suggest you do what I did and field sterilize them. Rubbing alcohol and the flame from a lighter are a simple but effective way to get the needles in satisfactory condition for my own peace of mind. (I have sterilized needles like this many times in the military- but hey what do I know?) #3 If you have sensitive skin or plan to use these inks on sensitive skin I suggest you look for other ink options. I did not have any problems using them but I used them all the same so I could give an honest review (I have my own supply of inks that I use on a routine basis) Again, this is just ink, and who knows what's in it, trust me when I say they use worse compounds in traditional ethnic tattooing. If you are that afraid of poisoning yourself you should probably just not buy this kit at all. #4 Last but not least I honestly don't see how the manufacturer made any money off this unit. Everything from carbon paper to rubber grommets is here. The stainless steel tips I would have purchased for $25 alone and the machines at the very least will be a back up if I need them. For $60 and some change this is the best deal I've got off Amazon in a long time. If you plan to buy it and whine about how crappy the equipment is for this price point you're probably either a professional working in a shop or a cheap and spoiled moron that thought they were getting pro gear. You can't buy a decent machine for $60 and even then you'd probably need a license so suck it up buttercup! Good luck and happy tattooing!

Worth every penny
I was an airbrush artist for almost 20 years. Everyone told me I should take up tattooing also, but I never did. Well it's 10 years later and I saw this tattoo kit and thought "Why not!". My 17 year old daughter is going learn to because she would like to possibly do permanent make up in the future. The kit arrived within just a few days of ordering. Everything we needed to get started was provided. It doesn't come with any instructions, but after watching a few YouTube videos, I had two of the machines put together and running in about 15 minutes. There are just a couple issues. The first issue is, they provide you with four machines, but only two grips. A quick search on Amazon and I bought 6 more grips for about $10. The other issue was they provided some 9M needles, but no 9M tips. We were kind of confused as to why they would provide the needles and not the tips. Under the recommendation of other reviewers, I purchased more ink than what was provided and I'm glad I did. The kit only provides a 1oz bottle of ink, which you would use most of that on a few practice tattoos. I purchased a 6 basic color set of 8oz bottles from Dynamic for about $50. I also purchased some fake skin from ReelSkin and I'm glad I did. The fake skin they provide will get you started, but it's half the thickness of what you should use and you'll find it hard to make a good line on it. It also doesn't take the ink well, like ReelSkin. Although, I purchased some extras to go with this kit, they do truly provide everything you need to get started and to see if you'll like it, without shelling out a whole lot of money. I knew I would like it, so I bought the extra stuff I knew I would need to keep the learning going without stopping. If you're looking into some good beginner machines and a perfect starter kit, this is it. I would buy it again.

Bought for my tattoo artist boyfriend
He loves this and has already tattooed a few people and himself and me. The guns are pretty good quality and easy to assemble. The inks aren't terribly big, but there's a ton of them! I liked how as many of the parts as possible are re-usable and easy to sanitize. This makes it really easy to replace the cheaper items you can't reuse. The only complaint is minor. The tattoo "skin" they give you to practice with is pretty flimsy and I tore most of the outline off just by wiping the excess tattoo ink off. So if you're starting out, this is a great case for a lot of reasons, but you might get more information on tattooing itself elsewhere. This seems to be more toward people who know what they're doing. All in all, it's a good buy for the money!

As a complete beginner, this tattoo machine was my starter kit. It came with everything I needed to get going on my tattoo adventure. I had an issue with the grips that came in my original kit, I reached out to the company and they were very efficient at getting back to me. I heard from them within 12 hours and they let me know they were sending me 2 new grips immediately. I am impressed with their efficiency and customer service, especially the fact that they are located on the other side of the world from me and I heard back so quickly. Great machines, great service! I am loving the new art form they have provided me with their equipment!
