Here's the Hurricane with a sensational new model. The Hurricane 15 running shoes have some great technologies, such as the durable IBR+ outsole, PowerGrid midsole along the foot, and comfort lining. With a few other novelties, such as the support structure and redesigned upper, the Hurricane 15 provides a more secure fit that offers a better transition and more support.

Great long distance running shoes
I am a Saucony runner; I have tried Asics and Nike and don't care for them. I have tried on Brooks and Mizuno, etc, and just prefer Saucony. If you run in Saucony then you like them, if you're trying them for the first time then you MUST TRY ON THE SHOES. Don't buy shoes without trying the new brand on! That being said, these are great long-distance shoes! I use these if I'm running for about 4+ miles at a time. I am attempting to transition from a heel-toe runner to running on the balls of my feet so I also bought the Saucony Men's Mirage 3 Running Shoe at the same time (you can see that review as well; 5-stars as well). These are good for longer distances for me because I can still run mostly heel-toe but after 5 or 6 miles I need to slow it down and run the old heel-toe method to give my calves a break. There is a good amount of padding in the heel and the toe and that does add a bit of weight, but nothing overt. These shoes are designed to be stabilization shoes. They are very rigid and stiff with not a lot of bend in them. This is not a draw back, but if you need this then these shoes are perfect. My feet pronate a little bit and ankles hurt after a while. These shoes do a great job of keeping my knees over my ankles and don't allow them to roll, at the same time as providing a great cloud-like cushion for my feet. Truth be told, go to their website so you can read how all their shoes are designed to perform, then come back to Amazon for the price! ;)

Run Like a Professional Marathoner In These
I used to only wear Nike shoes because I didnโt know anything about proper running shoes. When I started increasing my mileage, soreness in my back, knees and hips became persistent. I put up with it for years until finally I was talked into going to a running store where they evaluated my needs and recommended Saucony Hurricanes. This shoe is great and my knee and arch pain is gone! Here are some things to know about this shoes...- great for someone with high arches- good cushioning, support, and durability- buy a half-size up from your regular street shoes (I normally wear a 9 in and purchased a 9.5 2E in this running shoe.)- has a wide toe box- considered a "stability" shoe that is good for high mileage or high frequency of use- works well for over pronation

Great shoe
I used to wear saucony grid hurricanes about 10 yrs ago, but they changed and srarted making grid 3d, progrid, etc. They didn't fit and support my feet like the original ones. I changed to brooks beast for the last 8-9 yr. Seems like they have returned to the original shoe. I recently lost 70 lbs and my feet changed alot from 4eee to d width. I run/walk 3-4 miles eveyday and have had no issues with the new grid hurricanes from flat foot support, padding, and sizing.

Best running shoes for me right now
I've had history of arthritis from years of road marches while in the army. So, I'm picky when I have to get running shoes. I used to be Asics guy. Back in January I tried out different running shoes at a local store, asking for the Asics ones first. But man, they don't feel the same--the Asics Kayano felt stiff. Sales lady introduces me to the Saucony Hurricane 15, tried it on their treadmill and felt great. I've been running with Hurricane 15 since. My first pair, a silver and red one, is still good although the tear is now noticeable and that's why I purchased another pair here in Amazon (I know the brand, style and exact sizing--I wasn't worried about getting the wrong shoes online). I ordered the black one this time. I received in 2 days. I tried it out last night and felt great! I'm sticking with this running shoes for now unless they screw up the formula like they did for the Asics Kayano.

Very Good Shoe With Some Shortcomings
The Hurricane 15's have served as my entry gateway into Saucony running shoes and I must admit that I'm quite impressed.I had been looking for stability shoe that had lots of cushion since I'm so prone to injuries and man do these shoes deliver! As a mid-foot / forefoot striker, this shoe provides great cushioning along said areas as well as the heel. It has a very breathable toe-box and is quite roomy if you grab the correct size. I am exactly a 10.5, but got a 11 2E the first time around (bought a second pair afterwards) since I read the shoes ran a little narrow up top. Great decision. Second time around, I decided to get a pair of 10.5 2E to fit my feet a little better, and they did, but it felt more cramped at the toe-box even though they were 2E. A tiny bit inconvenient, but nothing to make a fuss over. The shoes do have a few things I've come to not be so fond of. First is the 8mm heel-to-toe drop. I suppose that because I had been running in shoes with a higher heel-to-toe drop, my right food and leg are slowly and somewhat painfully becoming acquainted with this adjustment. My achilles tendon feels strained at times as well as some parts of my right calf. I hope this is only temporary and that my foot and leg adjust.Second is that this shoe might have too much stability. Not a problem if you're a runner that needs a lot of stability, but I'm starting to realize that I personally might need to find me another pair of shoes that have only some added stability as opposed to loads of stability you get with the Hurricane 15's.All in all, still a very good shoe nonetheless. I haven't been this impressed with a shoe for some time. Having tried Brooks, New Balance and Asics, it feels as if though I'll be sticking with Saucony from now on.

comfortable
This was my first pair of running shoes where I bought to suit for my flat feet. I've had running shoes in the past where running for a week or so and my feet would hurt. Not this, I've been running for 3 months now and my feet don't feel any pain. I really like this pair. I wish I had bought more shoes like this in the past. This was super comfortable and haven't had any issues with it. Its definitely stylish. I like the black and orange color. It looks good. Highly recommend it!
