I usually switch between ceramic and steel knives every couple of years , last time I used a set of ceramic knives and broke the last one trying to open a can :) This time I wanted to get a block of steel ones as I wanted to differentiate them and use them for what it is meant for. Came across this block of knives including he block, I was thrilled with the vintage color of the handle which more or less matched my kitchen paint. The price seems to be definitely a bargain so immediately ordered it.Arrived in a neat little package and was quite heavy, so even before opening it I was quite sure that these knives must be real deal. Opened them and arranged them in a block quite easily. Pulled one after another and used them as mentioned in the manual or description. The handles are sturdy gives that extra grip and blades are super sharp as I have stated above, so please take extra care while using it as it might take time to get used to it. It is a nice addition to my kitchen and am delighted with the product.And of course, am happy to recommend

A good set of kitchen knives can help when making and dish and I was very in need of some.Positive- Presented well- Nice design- Decent quality- sharpen easilyNegative- I wish the Homgeek logo wasn't so prominent in the block.- Block slots were a little big for the knives they should sit snugWith any set of knives you sharpen after a few uses to maintain their effectiveness. You shouldn't put them the dishwasher and leave them wet. They will get rust spots and go blunt quicker.For a set of knives at this price they are good to use in the kitchen to prepare food and meals.I've taken some detailed pictures So you can see what you're considering buying.I hope this quick review helps, if so please bash that "Helpful" button!Enjoy all ;-)

As a good Masterchef viewer and someone who likes to spend time in the kitchen, I needed a knife set. I bought this knife set without thinking because I know the quality of Homgeek product and it has great reviews. It is possible to understand the quality when the box arrives. As soon as I picked it up, I realized once again what a good decision I had made. Especially the chef knife alone is very impressive. The fact that the sizes are written on the blades has increased both the quality and usage. It is really easy to hold knives. I highly recommend it.

Sad to report the knife set although Hadley well and look nice have gone blunt. Only purchased in December and only used for light domestic use as you would expect in a home kitchen. Packaging carries a 12 month (can be extended to 15 months) so have pinged a message but so far the message has just bounced [email protected] Not saying they are rubbish but beware, they shouldn’t be blunt in less than 6 months!!Follow up: emails to the support desk do not reach the recipient. I would like my money back but how do it???

Bought these for my brother as a gift and he went crazy when he saw the set. The wooden block itself looks absolute delight in the kitchen and the knifes themselves are really sharp so becareful. Washed all as it arrived as i am clean freak so they were easily cleaned and put away. Lovely bit of knife set.

Blunt (!) is an understatement! My old knives which I use a lot are still sharper than these ones. I would even ignore the fact that the stand was scratched on top if the knives were decent. They look good and that's about it. Returned within seconds. Unfortunately the returning process is not that quick due to limited returning locations in the area. Very disappointed.*****The manufacturer's customer service on the other hand is very good. They offered a full refund and 20% off with next purchase

I was looking for replacing our old knife set with a decent but not too pricey set. I came across this set and it looked great and was matching the kitchen decor, so I ordered the set. It turned out to be very good set of knives.They are so sharp that I managed to cut myself a bit in my first trial with potatoes, so please be more careful than me! They make chopping and cutting enjoyable. Slice through anything. They are well balanced, easy to hold knifes. I have found that it is equally good quality with higher priced knife sets. It’s great to be able to slice uncut bread without it all being squashed up or cut tomatoes without much effort. Besides, the block looks amazing in real life even better than photos. The detail of having all the knives written what they are on the top is very well thought. I liked it.

Lock-down has meant we are taking cooking far more seriously, particularly my son, who is a very fine chef. Unfortunately, we have broken two kitchen knives already this Summer, so decided to invest in a new set. The Homegeek set looked good on Amazon, and the prospect of German steel sounded like a positive feature.The knives arrived well packed, and secure, and we got down to using them this weekend cooking for some guests of my daughter.Well, very impressed! They arrived nice and sharp, so no need to run them through the sharpener. They handled well, comfortable to use, well balanced, and easy to clean and put back in the knife-block.As yet, I can't think of a negative point? Perhaps I wish I had traded up to the bigger Chef collection from Homegeek. But no need really, the set in the photo is enough for our amateur chef'ing (sorry son!)Recommended!
