Does the game come with instructions/rules?

This is how we played in Providence, RI when I was a kid. Each game was up to 21, gotta win by 2 points. The puck is placed in the middle circle and the players have a face-off by touching sticks together over puck then on board 3 times then go for puck. count on the stick touch 1, tap board, 2, tap board 3, go for puck. Players take turns hitting the puck once until one scores, regardless of where the puck lands after a shot. When scored upon or if the puck touches your "goal zone", a you may take a shot from the red circles behind the defense line, from the diamond using the thumb or stick, or from on top of the diamond. Scoring from the top of the diamond is automatic win. If the puck goes out of play, the player with the next shot may take a shot from the corner. The puck does not have to go through the goal all the way, if the puck can be moved by swiping a stick down against the outside of the board, then the shot counts.. Whew. there ya go. Hope that helps

Is the full size or 20.ol size better to play on or construction better

The size I have for our grandchildren is 35 inches long and 24 inches wide. It's perfect in size; even adults enjoy playing with kids. The construction is very sturdy. It's easy to store under a couch or bed, etc.

I have a 7 year old granddaughter. Old enough to play? I assume girls like it too, as I played as a kid and had fun!

I played as a kid too and I just bought one to play with my 7 yo grandson. He was wanting it to be like air hockey until he got into the game. It's still lots of fun!
