Horse Headband Mane Horse Tail Costume Dress-up

My daughter is almost 6 - she loves horses and loves to pretend. It's not easy to find cute "horse" stuff. She hasn't gotten this yet, but i know she will absolutely love it!Update: I had to change my 5 star rating to a 3 star rating. The tail pin came off after the 1st use, no big deal...I sewed it back on. The headband won't stay on her head as she's on all 4's pretending to be a horse. I may sew some ribbon on it so she can tie it around her chin or try hair clips but the headband is pretty thick, so we will see.I just feel bad that she was so frustrated because she was very excited to get it and her excitement turned into dissappointment very quickly.2nd Update - The hair clips work "ok" but look weird. I sewed the pin back on but the tail falls off after only a few minutes - won't stay closed. I may need to just sew a large Safety pin instead of the small pin that comes with it. UGH! Frustrating.

I am NOT happy, and you should think twice before you order this product. The picture above shows a black mane and tail. The product I received is brown, but not a regular brown, a rusty-colored brown. No big deal except that I ordered brown leggings and a matching brown shirt for my daughter to wear to complete the costume, and the browns do NOT match at all. Also, the headband shown here with the mane is NOT what the product actually looks like. On the headband I received, there is a small tuft of yarn at the top, but the "mane" actually looks like the tail and goes down the back of the headband, approximately shoulder length on my daughter. Again, this shouldn't be a big deal, except when my daughter is wearing it, the "mane" fans out, so she looks more like Raggedy Ann with rusty-brown hair and horse ears! It looks ridiculous! In order to salvage her costume, I will be cutting off all the rusty-brown yarn and replacing it with black yarn, which I already have, to make it look like the picture shown above. Thank goodness it wasn't too expensive a mistake considering I will still be using the headband with ears, so I'm not out that much money than if I made it myself from scratch.

Good quality for the time I used it, fit our dog well, and was nicely filled with yarn.

This horse headband was worthless. It was poorly made and has so little yarn in it, it was hard to tell what it was. My granddaughter ended up not wearing it for Halloween and we eventually threw it in the trash. Do NOT buy this item.

I wasnt quite sure about this item after reading the reviews but it was only $10 so I decided to try it anyway. It came yesterday and it's awesome! Cutest thing ever, it will work perfect for my daughter! We love it!!!
