This mold makes beautiful and professional looking soaps. I'd imagine if one tried, they could use it for candles as well, though they would come out a bit bigger than a tea light candle. Maybe about the size of three of them melted down and stuck together in one candle. The silicone is very durable and stays cool, even when hot liquid soap is poured into it. My only complaint is that you need to be very careful about where you store this. If it is somewhere that hair or fuzz can get on it; you'll have a hard time getting it off. Also, it cannot be stored anywhere that is will get squished, as it will remain that way and make your soaps into an odd squished circle shape.

I gave it a five because It was a lot bigger than I had expected, I ordered it new, but when it got here it wasn't! There was a soap residue on it and a scent that will not go away... Though I still think it is a great mold, If I order something NEW, I expect it to be NEW, not used. I really like how easy the soap comes out of the mold though and with a bit of rubbing alcohol it came out in great detail. Buy it if you really love it, maybe it will be new.

I really like using this. Makes the soap turns out quite attractive.2 recommendations;1]to make the soap mold larger. I would of preferred the soap to be a bigger oval, wider & flat instead of being a small circle that is taller than wide. What I have makes a 2 oz. bar & 3 oz would of been better & look more like the picture. 2] list how much the mold makes, 2 oz, 2.5 oz, 3 oz., providing a buyer with more info.Last, is this seller making more product? I went on last week & saw nothing.

Soaps made in this are guest size, flat on top and bottom and need to be stacked in a dish to look interesting, perhaps with other shapes as well. The mold itself is on the soft side, and my first mold did not come out perfectly round. Still, I think I'll keep it and play with the shape.

Beautifully detailed mold.

The detailing on this soap mold is amazing! Couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of the soap it creates. The mold is easy to use and seems to be holding up great. The soap bar is a bit small, but wonderful for guest size soaps. I will be a repeat customer of Longzang soap molds! Very nice products!

I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I love the design that will become my soaps.

Worked well though mold is not perfectly round as it is flexible. Still worked well for soap.
